"Through this initiative, I had the opportunity to engage with civil society organizations, community leaders, and other stakeholders committed to advancing malaria prevention and elimination in Tanzania. What stood out to me was the strong commitment of communities and partners to support national malaria efforts through awareness raising, coordination, and collective action. "Today, I am able to reach customers beyond my immediate neighborhood, promote my services online, and manage my salon business with greater confidence and professionalism. What once seemed challenging has become an opportunity for growth and learning. Through the Business Digital Training Program implemented by Global Impact Transformation (GIT) in partnership with Her Initiative, I gained practical skills in digital marketing, branding, content creation, customer engagement, and online business management. The training helped me understand how to use social media and digital platforms strategically to grow my business and connect with customers more effectively. Over the past year, I have strengthened my online presence, attracted new customers through digital promotion, and expanded awareness of my salon services. As a result, I estimate that my monthly income has increased by approximately 30–40 percent, allowing me to reinvest in my business, improve service delivery, and contribute more to my family's wellbeing.Beyond the financial benefits, the training strengthened my confidence as a young entrepreneur and inspired me to embrace innovation and continuous learning. "As a female football player, digital platforms have become an important part of how we communicate, learn, and connect with others. However, I had never received formal guidance on online safety or how to respond to digital harassment and abuse. The training provided through Global Impact Transformation (GIT) helped me better understand the risks that women and girls can face in online spaces and the practical steps we can take to protect ourselves." Through the sessions, I gained valuable knowledge on digital safety, privacy protection, responsible online engagement, and available support mechanisms. The training strengthened my confidence to navigate digital spaces safely and helped me recognize the importance of creating respectful and inclusive online environments. Today, I feel more informed and prepared to protect myself online. I also share what I have learned with fellow athletes and young women, encouraging them to use digital platforms safely and responsibly while taking advantage of the opportunities that technology can offer."

"Before joining the Women Empowerment for Livelihood and Leadership (W.E.L.L.) Project implemented by Global Impact Transformation (GIT), opportunities for women in our community to earn a stable income were very limited. Many of us relied on small and unpredictable sources of income that were often insufficient to meet our families' needs. Through the Training of Trainers (ToT) program, I gained practical skills in producing eco-friendly charcoal from locally available waste materials. The training introduced new opportunities for generating income while promoting environmental conservation and responsible waste management in our community. With the knowledge and support provided through GIT, I have trained 13 women and girls in my community. Together, we now produce, use, and sell eco-friendly charcoal, creating additional income for our households and strengthening our economic resilience. What started as a training opportunity has grown into a platform for women's empowerment, leadership, and sustainable livelihoods. As Chairperson of the Tuchangamke Women's Group, established and supported through the W.E.L.L. Project, I have witnessed women gain confidence, strengthen their leadership skills, and take a more active role in supporting their families and communities. Beyond improving our livelihoods, we are promoting environmentally sustainable practices that help protect natural resources for future generations. Today, I am proud to support other women in building more resilient and independent lives. This project has demonstrated that when women are equipped with the right skills, opportunities, and support, they can strengthen their families, contribute to their communities, and create a lasting impact."
