The first session of the six-week Digital Business Training Programme, brought together an ambitious group of young people the majority young women  to begin a transformative journey towards future-ready entrepreneurship.

The session served as more than an introduction to the program, it was a platform for inspiration, connection, and vision setting. Participants entered the space ready to explore possibilities, share experiences, and commit to a process designed to unlock their potential in an increasingly digital and interconnected economy.

The opening session created an environment of collaboration, inspiration, and forward-looking ambition, encouraging participants to see themselves as leaders in the future of work, by connecting talent with opportunity, the training is setting the stage for inclusive, innovation-driven economic participation.
This marks the beginning of a transformative journey towards equitable and sustainable livelihoods in a fast-evolving digital landscape.The first day set the tone for an inclusive, participant-driven learning environment. From the moment participants arrived, the atmosphere was dynamic, filled with conversation, exchange of ideas, and early signs of collaboration. 

Facilitators provided an overview of the program’s objectives, structure, and support systems, highlighting the importance of building both technical competence and entrepreneurial mindsets. The emphasis was on linking skills to real-world opportunities, ensuring that participants see the relevance of each step they take in the training.The session was designed to ensure active participation, peer learning, and equal representation. Participants were encouraged to share their aspirations and challenges, creating a space where lived experiences inform learning.

The diversity of the cohort spanning different backgrounds, education levels, and personal journeys became a strength, enabling richer discussions and mutual learning. This diversity reflects the program’s commitment to ensuring that no one is left behind in accessing digital and economic opportunities.

Momentum and Early Outcomes

While this was the first session, its impact was already visible:
