In today’s fast-evolving world, where young people face increasing social, environmental, and economic pressures, schools must do more than deliver academic knowledge. At GIT, we are cultivating schools as spaces of inspiration, discovery, and leadership

The GIT School Clubs Model: A Unified Approach to Impact

At Global Impact Transformation (GIT), we believe the future of Tanzania and the world rests in the hands of bold, ethical, and informed young leaders. Through our flagship initiative, GIT School Clubs, we are transforming primary and secondary schools into powerful spaces for learning, leadership, and impact.

What makes our model exceptional is its ability to seamlessly integrate three essential focus areas into one cohesive platform for student engagement, these clubs are more than extracurricular programs, they are structured platforms that nurture students’ creativity, resilience, and agency through three interconnected pathways:

  • E-STEAM (Environment, Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Mathematics)

  • Peace Building

  • Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Prevention

Together, they form a holistic model that empowers young people to lead solutions for the world’s most pressing challenges.

E-STEAM: Where Innovation Meets Opportunity

The world is shifting rapidly toward digital and green economies, yet millions of young people especially girls are being left behind. GIT’s E-STEAM Clubs (Environment, Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) are closing that gap.

These clubs introduce students to emerging fields such as robotics, coding, renewable energy, digital literacy, and climate innovation. They cultivate curiosity,  creativity, and problem-solving skills that prepare learners to thrive in the future of work, while encouraging girls to break barriers in science and technology.

Key Impact: Empowering learners to become future scientists, climate innovators, and tech leaders, especially in underserved and marginalized communities.

Peace Clubs: Nurturing Dialogue, Inclusion, and Conflict Resilience

True peace begins with young people. GIT Peace Clubs equip students with the tools to build a culture of nonviolence, tolerance, empathy, and active citizenship. Through dialogue circles, storytelling, games, and collaborative learning, participants strengthen their capacity to manage conflict, embrace diversity, and support one another.

These clubs also serve as safe spaces for emotional expression and community-building, helping students become peer leaders and positive influencers in their schools and beyond.

Key Impact: Strengthening peaceful mindsets and preventing violence by fostering emotional literacy, civic awareness, and mutual respect.

GBV Clubs: Educating, Protecting, and Empowering

In a world where gender-based violence continues to undermine safety and dignity, GIT GBV Clubs are creating bold spaces for prevention, awareness, and support. In every school, safety and dignity must be non-negotiable. Our GBV Clubs equip learners with critical knowledge on rights, gender equality, consent, and personal safety. These clubs raise awareness, challenge harmful social norms, and create peer support networks to prevent abuse and discrimination.

Key Impact: Building a school culture where safety, gender equality, and dignity are upheld for every child.

At GIT, we envision a future led by informed, empowered, and ethical young people. Our GIT School Clubs are turning that vision into reality, transforming classrooms into hubs of innovation, peace building, and gender justice.

Let’s Scale the Impact

Together, we can ignite the leadership potential of every child and ensure that no one is left behind in the journey toward peace, equality, and innovation.
