Global Impact Transformation (GIT) is proud to announce the successful completion of its Flagship Multi-Country Climate Research Initiative, a regional research program led by GIT and implemented in partnership with leading civil society organizations across Burundi, the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Ethiopia, Kenya, Mozambique, Somalia, and Tanzania. The initiative brought together a distinguished consortium of regional partners, including ISOKO Partners for Peace and Gender Equality, Centre d'Appui aux Initiatives Locales de Développement et d'Assistance aux Personnes Vulnérables (CIDEP Burundi), Grupo de Ajuda para o Desenvolvimento Comunitário (GADC–Mozambique), Ethiopian Youth for Peace and Development (EYPD), South West State Organization (SWSO–Somalia), and Youth for SDGs Kenya. Together, the partners combined their technical expertise, local knowledge, and regional experience to generate evidence that addresses the interconnected challenges of climate change, community resilience, and sustainable development across Africa. The comprehensive research report is currently in its final stages of technical review and publication and will be released soon. The report will present detailed country findings, comparative regional insights, emerging trends, and practical recommendations designed to inform policy, strengthen programming, guide strategic investments, and inspire collaborative action towards more resilient, inclusive, and sustainable communities across Africa.
