The report captures key institutional milestones, including the expansion of flagship initiatives such as the Vijana Impact Hub, the Women’s Empowerment for Livelihoods and Leadership (W.E.L.L.) Program, and the scaling of GIT School Clubs across multiple thematic areas. It also highlights GIT’s leadership in co-establishing the Tanzania Women, Peace and Security Coalition and coordinating a multi-country climate research initiative across seven African countries.

Reflecting a strong commitment to inclusion, the report demonstrates meaningful engagement of women and girls, youth, and persons with disabilities, while strengthening community-driven solutions and local leadership across diverse regions.

“The achievements of 2025 reflect the power of community-led action, strong partnerships, and a shared commitment to inclusive development. We are proud of the progress made in expanding opportunities for women, youth, and marginalized communities across Tanzania. As we look ahead to 2026, our focus is to deepen impact, scale innovation, and strengthen pathways that enable communities not only to participate in development, but to lead it. We remain committed to delivering even greater, measurable impact in the year ahead.”
