Executive Summary

Guided by our commitment to “Empowering Communities, Transforming Lives,” Global Impact Transformation (GIT) continued to advance grassroots-led and inclusive development across Tanzania in 2025. Through community-driven initiatives, GIT expanded opportunities for women, youth, persons with disabilities (PWDs), and underserved communities in the areas of youth empowerment, digital inclusion, women's economic and leadership empowerment, climate action, education, peace building, gender equality, women’s football safeguarding, and public health advocacy.

In 2025, GIT reached more than 10,000 people directly and indirectly, strengthening local leadership, promoting innovation, advancing social cohesion, supporting sustainable livelihoods, and amplifying community voices to address social, economic, and environmental challenges. The results highlighted in this report demonstrate the power of locally led solutions and the resilience of communities in shaping a more inclusive and sustainable future.
